Dialamine is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Dialamine is an orange flavoured powdered drink mix containing carbohydrate, essential amino acids and inherently low levels of minerals. For the dietary management of advanced chronic renal failure and certain urea cycle disorders from 6 months.

How to Use :

Dialamine may be taken as a drink or paste. Suggested dilution is 1 to 5, i.e. 20g of powder plus 100mls of water which gives a final volume of 116mls. Mix the prescribed amount of powder to a paste with cold water and make up to the required volume. If taken as a paste, water or diluted drinks should be offered at the same time.

Storage :

Store in a cool, dry place. Always replace the container lid after use. Once opened, use within a month.

Precautions :

Must be used under medical supervision. For enteral use only. Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for use in infants less than 6 months old.

 Sugar, dried glucose syrup, L-lysine acetate, flavour enhancer (citric acid), L-leucine, L-valine, L-threonine, L-isoleucine, L-tyrosine, L-phenylalanine, flavouring, L-cystine, L-histidine, L-methionine, L-tryptophan, L-ascorbic acid, colouring (E160(a), E162).
