Polycal Powder is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Polycal Powder is a non-sweet, unflavoured carbohydrate supplement. Polycal Powder is designed for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition, as an energy supplement for patients who are unable to meet their energy requirements from regular dietary intake. A level scoop holds 5g of powder.

How to Use :

Polycal Powder dissolves readily in hot and cold drinks. It has a neutral taste and can therefore be added to both sweet and savoury food or drink without significantly altering flavour or texture. It is also suitable for use in cooking. Use only the scoop provided in the packaging. Scoop   1 level scoop provides 5g of powder.

Storage :

Keep sealed and store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C). Do not refrigerate. Once opened, use contents within 1 month. Replace lid firmly after use. Prepare the food per serving and use within 2 hours. Always discard unfinished solutions.

Precautions :

 Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Only to be used as a supplement to the normal diet. Use with caution in children aged 1-6 years. Use with caution in patients with diabetes. Not suitable for infants.
