PKU GMPro Ultra is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. PKU GMPro Ultra is a flavoured, nutritionally incomplete, low phenylalanine* powdered drink mix containing glycomacropeptide (GMP), with essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and asmall amount of carbohydrate and fat. With sugars and sweeteners. PKU GMPro Ultra is available in two flavours, vanilla and lemonade, in 30 x 33.4g sachets. *PKU GMPro Ultra contains 36.0mg of phenylalanine per 33.4g sachet. How to Use :

The quantity of feed and dilution should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. The recommended feed concentration is 33.4g powder (1 sachet) made up with 180ml water to give a final volume of 210ml. A lower concentration may be required according to individual tastes and tolerance. Water or additional fluid should be offered at the same time to ensure adequate fluid intake. The health of the patient depends on carefully following the directions for preparation and use. 1. Wash your hands, clean all utensils. 2. Measure the required amount of cold water into a container. 3. Add the prescribed quantity of powder. 4. Seal and shake well until the powder has dissolved. PKU GMPro Ultra is best served chilled and should be consumed immediately.

Storage :

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Once opened, use immediately. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.

Precautions :

Must be used under medical supervision. Use with caution in children aged 3-6 years. Only intended for use by individuals with phenylketonuria (PKU). This product should not be used as a sole source of protein but must be given in conjunction with natural protein and other nutrients to supply the phenylalanine, fluid and general nutrition requirements of the patient in medically prescribed quantities. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for cows’ milk intolerance. Not suitable for children under the age of 3 years. Use with caution as contains a source of phenylalanine.
