Side Effects:

Magnesium salts tend to be laxative and aluminium salts constipating, therefore the combination of the two in this preparation should have minimal effect on the stools

Cautions:

Not recommended for childern under 12 years of age. It is a low sodium preparation (each 10ml dose contains less than 1mmol of sodium) which should be noted for patients on sodium-restricted diets

Ingredients :

The active substances are dried aluminium hydroxide (44 mg/ml) and magnesium hydroxide (39 mg/ml).The other excipients are Sorbitol liquid (non-crystallising) (E 420), mannitol (E 421), hydrochloric acid, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), citric acid monohydrate, simethicone emulsion 30%, saccharin sodium, hydrogen peroxide solution 35%, peppermint oil, strong sodium hypochlorite solution, purified water.
