Doublebase Dayleve Gel is a long-lasting, highly moisturising and protective hydrating gel to help treat dry or chapped skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, ichthyosis or elderly dry skin.
Doublebase Dayleve Gel contains emollient oils and a high level of glycerol (a humectant) and povidone (a film forming agent) to hold water into the skin and help to make it a long-lasting emollient. The two oils in Doublebase Dayleve Gel help soften, moisturise and protect the skin by trapping moisture and restoring the normal protective function of the skin.
Doublebase Dayleve Gel is designed to deliver the emollient ingredients into the skin to make it non-greasy despite its high oil content.
Doublebase Dayleve Gel is convenient for those patients who find it can effectively moisturise the skin, even if only applied twice a day, in the morning and at night. This may be helpful if it is difficult to re-apply an emollient during the school or working day.
Doublebase Dayleve Gel can be used by all age groups from babies to the elderly.

How to Use :
This product is only for application to the skin.
For maximum benefit you should apply the gel on a regular basis.
• Before using the 500 g bottle, turn the top of the pump dispenser anti-clockwise
to unlock it. After unlocking, you will need to press down the pump dispenser several
times to prime the pump before any gel is dispensed.
• Apply Doublebase Dayleve Gel to the affected areas of the skin morning and night, or
as often as required.
• Use a few gentle strokes to smooth the gel across the skin in the same direction as hair
growth (like stroking a cat or dog). If necessary, allow time for any excess to soak in.
Do not rub the skin vigorously.
• This product can also be used before and after washing, showering or having a bath
to help condition your skin and stop it from drying further.
• If you are applying another treatment to the same areas of skin as Doublebase Dayleve
Gel, try to avoid mixing the two products. This can be achieved by applying the
treatments alternately, leaving sufficient time to allow the previous application to soak in.
Storage :
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use Doublebase Dayleve Gel after the expiry date shown on the container.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
• Do not store above 25°C.
• Do not freeze the product.
• After using the 500 g bottle, it is advisable to turn the top of the pump clockwise
to lock it. In the case of the tube, replace the cap after use.
• Occasionally, in the 500 g bottle a small pocket of air may form around the bottom end
of the pump’s dip tube, making it harder to pump the gel out. This may be resolved by
tapping the base of the bottle firmly on a hard surface two or three times, so the gel can
settle at the bottom around the end of the dip tube. The pump should then be pumped
SLOWLY
Precautions :
Do not smoke or go near naked flames - risk of severe burns. Fabric (clothing, bedding,
dressings etc) that has been in contact with this product burns more easily and is a serious fire
hazard. Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but not totally remove it.
