Care Potassium Citrate Mixture helps to relieve the painful ‘burning’ of cystitis and the symptoms of other minor urinary tract infections.

It works by making the urine less acidic and so reduces irritation when urinating.

Suitable for adults, the elderly and children over 1 year

Care Potassium Citrate Mixture. For the relief of the symptoms of cystitis and other mild urinary tract infections. Contains Potassium Citrate 1.5g/5ml. Always read the label.

Self-care measures for cystitis

Take over the counter medicines

Drink plenty of water

Hold a hot water bottle on the stomach or between the thighs

Avoid having sex

Pee frequently

Wipe from front to back when going to the toilet

Gently wash around the genitals with a skin-sensitive soap

How to Use :

Unless directed otherwise by a doctor:

Adults including the elderly, and children over 6 years: 10ml.

Children 1 – 6 years: 5ml.

It should be taken well diluted with water, after meals.

Shake the bottle before use.

Dosage Schedule

The dose may be taken three times a day.
